It is worth noting that throughout the next 4 weeks, these are my preferences - not necessarily the generic fitness preferences.
#1 - Deadlift
Best compound exercise ever in my opinion, despite that it trains the whole body - the hamstrings benefit through strengthening and working simultaneously with other muscles.
#2 - Romanian Deadlift
Isolating the hamstrings further from the deadlift allows dedicated work on the hamstrings
#3 - Leg Curl
My preferred option is to use a gym ball for additional glute work but most machines work fantastically well.
#4 - Nordic Curl
Looks easy but probably the hardest hamstring exercise to perform.
#5 - Lunge
Not just a quad exercise, the lunge is great for hamstrings.
